No shortage of creative lines in the slopestyle course.

The snowboarding action has already been all-time with the Junior Jam Halfpipe yesterday, which went down in classic form with some of the world’s most talented 14 and under riders competing for a chance to ride alongside the pros in Thursday’s semi-finals. Jinsook Lee took home the top spot for the boys, followed by Valentino Guseli in second and Kolman Lecroy for third. On the girl’s side, it was Mitsuki Ono in first, followed by Tessa Maud for second and Berenice Wicki in third. Mitsuki Ono and Jinsook Lee were also the lucky winner's of the Clif Raise the Bar award. The awards ceremony will take place tonight, which brings us to the other half of the Burton USOpen…this week’s FREE concert lineup.

We’re starting the concerts off with a bang tonight, with the Solaris Main Stage featuring two of the hottest bands coming out of L.A. right now. Experience the stripped-down blues trio, The Record Company, and the gauzy beats and cooing harmonies of Oyster Kids. Did we mention that this concert, and every concert this week, is FREE?

Also on tap tonight is the Chill Foundation party and fundraiser at the Bo Bridges Gallery. Come on down, have a good time, meet a few of your favorite riders, and support Chill’s mission to inspire youth to overcome challenges through boardsports.
