It’s about to get wild as we enter day four of competition here at Vail, Colorado, for the 36th annual Burton U·S·Open Snowboarding Championships with women’s and men’s slopestyle finals starting at 11:00am MST. Prepare to watch the world’s top park riders as they push the envelope on the most dialed and creative slopestyle course they’ve seen all season. Also on tap is a Burton Girls ride day and après, meet and greets with some of your favorite riders, including the Burton USA Olympic Team, plus Après All Day activations, live music, and the Pacifico After Party. The schedule is jam-packed.

The title is on the line in slopestyle finals today as snowboarding’s top riders charge massive jumps and park features on a creative course the riders are saying is the best they’ve ridden all season. In this finals event, the top women’s and men’s competitors from Wednesday’s semi-finals will go head-to-head in a best run counts, three-run format at Golden Peak. It’s sure to be an incredible show as these riders cap off what is without a doubt the most intense season of competition in history. Watch it in person or tune in to the live broadcast on BurtonUSOpen.com or RedBull TV.

Mark McMorris is the top qualifier heading into finals.

Yesterday saw a heated battle in women’s and men’s halfpipe semi-finals as riders squared off to secure a spot in Saturday’s finals. Maddie Mastro and Ayumu Hirano took the spotlight and qualified on top heading into Saturday’s main event. If you’re following from afar, be sure to tune in to tomorrow’s live broadcast of halfpipe finals at 11:00am MST for what is sure to be a mind-bending culmination of this crazy contest season.

Competition is only half of what we have on tap today. Women of all ability levels are encouraged to head to the Burton Girls tent in the Sponsor Village at Golden Peak at 1:00pm for a group ride followed by après and music back at the Burton Girls tent. At the après, we’ll even have the best braiders in the business on hand—our friends from Paul Mitchell. Arrive early and visit all the tents in the sponsor village for good times, giveaways, free Burton and Anon Optics demo gear, and more.

Anna Gasser has been one of the few to send it off this unique feature.

Want to meet the Burton USA Olympic Team? Head to the Burton Pop-Up Shop, located next to the sponsor village, today at 3:30pm to say what’s up and get yourself some autographs. After that, head to the Clif Bar booth in the sponsor village to meet halfpipe superstar Elena Hight.

At 6:00pm, stroll on over to the Solaris Concert Stage where we’ll start the night right by crowning the 2018 slopestyle champions before lighting up the stage with the third night of the Burton Concert Series. This free concert, presented by Pacifico Beer, will feature psych pop juggernaut Madaila opening for the majestic anthems of headliner BØRNS. After the concert at Solaris, the after party presented by Pacifico kicks off at BOL at 9:00pm.
