A Colorado local, Chris Corning has risen through the ranks and made a name for himself on the world stage with impressive results and an inane level of technical wizardry. He was a member of the 2018 U.S. team competing in PyeongChang and most recently took gold in slopestyle at the 2019 Laax Open.

Red started snowboarding at age two near Cleveland, Ohio. He later honed his skills on the sculpted parks of Summit County, Colorado, and was competing by age 11, quickly making a name for himself in slopestyle. By the time PyeongChang went down, he became the youngest snowboarder to ever win gold.

Hailing from Oslo, Norway, Stale was only 14 when he dropped in at the Arctic Challenge. He’s been traveling and competing for nearly a decade and is widely considered a true all-round competitor with a string of major podiums to his credit, including a silver medal in slopestyle at Sochi.

Silje Norendal started snowboarding in Norway at age four with her mom. Within two years, she was competing. By 18, she had won slopestyle gold at the 2013 X Games Tignes, and followed that with consecutive X Games Aspen gold medals (2014 and 2015). It’s been an impressive ride ever since.

He then took the win at the 2017 Winter Dew Tour. A respectable 8th in PyeongChang proves he can hang against the heaviest fields.

Chloe’s rise to the top has been rapid. In 2016 she became the first woman to land back-to-back 1080s. Gold in PyeongChang rocketed her to the pinnacle of snowboarding celebrity. Where this 3x defending Burton U·S·Open halfpipe champ goes from here is anyone’s guess, but it’s sure to be amazing.

Maddie emerged from the ranks in 2016 by earning pipe podiums at two U.S. Grand Prix events, plus 4th at X Games Oslo. Her tech runs include Haakon flips and Cripplers. 2018-2019 has been huge for Maddie with a trip to PyeongChang, and multiple podiums including 2nd at the 2018 Burton U·S·Open.

Jiayu has competed on the pro tour since 2005. Always a contender on the World Cup circuit, she has stood atop the podium at major events including a silver at PyeongChang. Her remarkable run included a stylish switch method, back-to-back 540s, and a pair of sevens executed with amplitude.

Colorado local Arielle Gold’s first major win was the 2010 Burton U·S·Open Junior Jam. At 17, she qualified for Sochi, but was sidelined with an injury. It was only a small hurtle for her as she returned stronger than ever for PyeongChang 2018, where she earned the bronze medal.

Queralt first hit the international scene at Turin in 2006. In 2012, she followed Kelly Clark as the second woman to ever land a 1080 in competition. More recently, Queralt earned first ahead of Chloe Kim at the 2018 Snowmass Grand Prix, plus silvers at both the 2019 X Games Aspen and Laax Open.

Sena started riding at age three and made her World Cup halfpipe debut in 2016 at Sapporo, Japan. Since then, she’s earned impressive results including 2nd at the 2017 FIS World Cup in China, as well as a respectable 8th place finish in PyeongChang.

Xuetong Cai became the first Chinese athlete ever to medal at X Games when she earned bronze in 2016 at Aspen. She followed that up in 2017 with a silver, and another bronze in 2019, plus a recent silver at the 2019 world championships. Xuetong is a known podium threat at every contest she enters.
